Stibo DX signs agreement with media organization Shizuoka Shimbun and establishes local presence in Japan

Stibo DX today announced that Shizuoka Shimbun, one of Japan’s leading regional media organizations, has signed an agreement to adopt the full CUE media enterprise platform across its newsroom and media operations. The 2027 implementation will streamline Shizuoka Shimbun’s media operation workflows, accelerate digital innovation, and support the company’s long-term operational strategy.
The partnership marks a significant step in Stibo DX’s expanding presence in Japan and highlights the market’s growing recognition that international vendors with deep media operation expertise can deliver world-class, future-ready solutions for Japanese media organizations.
Stibo DX has subsequently completed an initiative to adapt the SaaS delivered CUE media enterprise platform to the Japanese market, including:
- A native Japanese-language application interface
- Support for Japanese media operation workflows
- Support for Japanese-language digital and print production
Building strong, local partnerships is a core part of Stibo DX’s operating philosophy. To support long-term collaboration with Japanese media, Stibo DX will establish a permanent presence in Japan, underlining the company’s commitment to sustained investment in the region.
